Flydubai is advising its passengers, especially those departing from Dubai International Airport in the coming days, to exercise caution due to expected congestion during the winter holiday period, as traveler numbers are on the rise. The airline emphasized that following the guidelines will enhance the travel experience and alleviate stress for passengers.
In a statement on its official website, the airline recommended that travelers verify their contact details through the “Manage Booking” section on their platform and complete check-in electronically between 48 hours and 75 minutes before departure. Additionally, travelers can utilize home check-in services or visit a Flydubai center in Sharjah.
Flydubai also stressed the importance of reviewing permitted baggage details, adhering to weight and content restrictions, packaging fragile items properly, and attaching a contact information tag to each bag. Passengers are encouraged to arrive at the airport four hours prior to their flight, use the self-service kiosks in Terminal 2 to complete check-in, print baggage tags, and monitor flight information screens to confirm their departure gate and be at the gate on time.
Additionally, travelers can save time at the airport by using self-service kiosks in Terminal 2, where they can print their baggage tags and check in (if they haven’t done so online) before proceeding directly to the designated baggage drop-off area. Passengers are encouraged to consistently check the flight information screens to stay updated on their departure gates and ensure they are at the gate well in advance for boarding.
The airline affirmed that these guidelines are aimed at providing passengers with a smooth and comfortable travel experience during the peak winter season, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and efficiently.
