Flydubai has unveiled new programs aimed at enhancing leadership skills, fostering internal talent growth, and supporting leadership capabilities while instilling a high-performance work culture rooted in values across the organization.
The initiatives include an Executive Leadership Program for senior leaders and a Management Training Program for mid-level managers. Both programs offer a comprehensive educational path over nine months, focusing on translating strategy into tangible business outcomes. In the inaugural year, the Executive Leadership Program will include 18 members from the executive leadership team, while the Management Training Program will aim to sharpen the skills of 120 managers from various departments within the company.
The Executive Leadership Program specifically targets vice presidents and senior vice presidents to enhance their strategic leadership capabilities, innovation potential, and leadership presence. This program, through a series of interactive sessions and executive training aligned with Flydubai’s growth strategy, aims to cultivate a cohesive and unified executive leadership culture that contributes to improved operational performance, customer experience, and AI-driven innovation.
According to Ghaith Al Ghaith, the CEO of Flydubai, “Our employees are the cornerstone of Flydubai’s success. By systematically investing in leadership development, we build the capabilities necessary to translate strategy into reality and support our ongoing growth in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and talent development strategies. We are dedicated to supporting the emirate’s ambition to position Dubai among the best cities globally in business, innovation, and quality of life.”
The Management Training Program is designed to act as a catalyst for Flydubai’s transformation, equipping senior managers with the necessary skills to become performance influencers and cultural ambassadors. The program emphasizes a shift in mindset from merely executing tasks to leading teams, enhancing communication and trust, and implementing strategy through clear goals and defined performance outcomes.
Stimulating Environment
Nasser bin Kharbash, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Flydubai, stated, “The programs are designed to develop leaders across all levels of the organization, from managers guiding their teams on a daily basis to executives charting our future. By focusing on practical application and cultural alignment, we create a stimulating work environment that empowers our employees to perform, grow, and lead with confidence.”
Over its 17 years of operation, Flydubai has built a robust workforce of over 6,700 employees representing 144 nationalities. The company’s ongoing recruitment campaigns facilitate steady growth across various departments, supporting its future development plans.
