The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority, along with the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, organized a specialized workshop in partnership with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). This initiative aims to inform investors and companies operating within the two zones about the registration process and how to join ADNOC’s database of approved suppliers, aligning with efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and support the business community.
Attendees of the workshop included Saud Al Mazrouei, Director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority, along with Mubarak Al Mahri, Senior Vice President of Administration and Community Services at ADNOC. The event also welcomed various department heads and officials, as well as numerous investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from local and international companies within the energy sector.
The workshop covered several key topics aimed at enhancing companies’ understanding of the procedures and requirements for joining ADNOC’s approved supplier network, a leading player in the global energy field. Discussions included commercial licensing and governmental requirements in Abu Dhabi, showcasing the necessary regulatory measures for establishing operations within the energy sector. Additionally, the registration process for suppliers at ADNOC was detailed, including the fundamental requirements and standards the company uses to select and qualify suppliers. There was a thorough examination of the adopted policies and procedures needed to ensure compliance with ADNOC’s quality and efficiency standards, along with an emphasis on the “Made in UAE” initiative.
