This uptick coincides with the New Year, attracting numerous visitors from various global and local markets eager to enjoy the winter climate and natural scenery.
Saeed Al-Samahy, the Director of the Fujairah Department of Tourism and Antiquities, stated that occupancy rates during this time, aligned with the new year’s onset, range from 95% to 100%. This success results from a diverse range of services and luxurious hotel offerings situated in breathtaking natural settings, making Fujairah an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation and leisure.
Similarly, Ashraf Helmy, the Manager of the Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort, reported that the hotel’s occupancy was at 95% as the new year began, with 85% of guests being international tourists and 15% domestic. He noted a growing interest in participating in special offers and events during the new year, emphasizing Fujairah’s importance as a prime attraction due to its unique coastal and natural landscapes.
In parallel, Mohammad Qadoura, the Manager of the Address Hotel in Dibba, mentioned that bookings peaked at a perfect 100%, reflecting strong tourist demand for the emirate during this period.
Moreover, Mohammad Shalabi, the Sales and Marketing Director at Radisson Blu Resort Fujairah, confirmed that the resort’s occupancy reached 99%, with 80% of visitors being from international markets. This statistic highlights Fujairah’s status as a favored winter destination, particularly for international tourists, thanks to its unique location along the Arabian Sea, high-quality hospitality services, and entertaining events throughout the holiday season, which enhance the emirate’s appeal year after year.
