How to Watch the Biggest New Year’s Celebration in Dubai for Free

Dubai is gearing up to host an unprecedented New Year’s Eve celebration in 2025, featuring a spectacular visual display that the public can enjoy for free from various iconic locations throughout the city. The Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, will be transformed into a cinematic stage inspired by Bollywood, with global superstar Shah Rukh Khan taking part in what organizers are calling the largest and most distinctive event in the emirate’s history.

This year’s festivities will span eight days, from December 31 to January 7, incorporating fireworks, laser shows, LED light projections, music, and synchronized performances from the Dubai Fountains, all enhanced with a special Bollywood flair that adds an extraordinary cinematic touch to the atmosphere.

According to Forbes, Emaar Properties is collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, whose company Red Chillies Entertainment will produce the show and infuse elements inspired by Indian cinema, creating a world-class visual and entertainment experience in the Burj Park area and downtown Dubai.

Free Viewing from Designated Locations

Organizers have confirmed that the public can enjoy the entire show for free from several designated open viewing areas that do not require tickets, including:

– Boulevard Heights

– Vista Tower

– Emaar Square

– Address Downtown Boulevard

– Fountain Views

– Address Downtown

– Vida Dubai Mall

Visitors are advised to arrive before 4 PM to secure a good spot, with the Dubai Metro being the recommended mode of transportation due to the potential closure of the Burj Khalifa–Dubai Mall station once capacity is reached.

Paid Options for Premium Viewing

For those seeking a more exclusive experience, Burj Park adjacent to the tower will offer front-row seats with ticket prices starting at 997.5 AED for adults and 577.5 AED for children aged 5 to 12, while children under 5 can enter for free.

The tickets include comprehensive amenities such as food trucks, seating areas, restrooms, live performances, DJ stages, and designated zones for children.

Organization and Visitor Guidelines

Partial road closures around the area will begin at 4 PM, with LED screens set up on main streets for those unable to access the venue directly. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, bring water and snacks, wear comfortable footwear, and exercise patience to ensure a smooth celebratory experience.

This event represents a rare opportunity for the public to witness one of the largest New Year’s celebrations in the world for free, combining fireworks, visual art, and Bollywood cinema against the backdrop of Dubai’s vibrant ambiance.
