Dubai is gearing up to host an unprecedented New Year’s Eve celebration in 2025, featuring a spectacular visual display that the public can enjoy for free from various iconic locations throughout the city. The Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, will be transformed into a cinematic stage inspired by Bollywood, with global superstar Shah Rukh Khan taking part in what organizers are calling the largest and most distinctive event in the emirate’s history.
This year’s festivities will span eight days, from December 31 to January 7, incorporating fireworks, laser shows, LED light projections, music, and synchronized performances from the Dubai Fountains, all enhanced with a special Bollywood flair that adds an extraordinary cinematic touch to the atmosphere.
According to Forbes, Emaar Properties is collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, whose company Red Chillies Entertainment will produce the show and infuse elements inspired by Indian cinema, creating a world-class visual and entertainment experience in the Burj Park area and downtown Dubai.
