Khalid Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed Explores Collaboration Opportunities with State Street for Asset Management

Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, held a meeting with Ronald O’Hanley, the Chairman and CEO of State Street, a company specializing in asset management, banking services, and investment consulting.

During the discussion, they explored opportunities for collaboration and the development of strategic partnerships between the institutions in Abu Dhabi and State Street, aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange and leveraging innovative solutions in asset management and banking services. This effort is part of a broader strategy to establish Abu Dhabi as a leading global financial center known for its efficiency, sustainability, and investment appeal.

Founded in 1792, State Street is the second oldest bank in the United States, currently managing assets exceeding $5 trillion. The company has a significant global presence, operating in more than 100 financial markets worldwide.

Attending the meeting were Ahmad Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Crown Prince’s Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
