Raqs Showcases a Comprehensive Service Model in Three Indian Cities

The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) recently organized a strategic promotional tour across several Indian cities, during which it engaged with entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and industry leaders in three major urban centers. This initiative aims to support India’s global growth ambitions and strengthen economic ties between India and the United Arab Emirates.

During the tour, RAKEZ showcased its comprehensive business setup services in the UAE. The tour featured a notable participation in the “Jubilant Tamil Nadu” event and included targeted business meetings in both Mumbai and Goa.

Throughout the tour, RAKEZ interacted with various companies, providing practical insights and clear pathways for Indian businesses to establish, expand, and diversify their operations in the UAE, particularly in Ras Al Khaimah.

Rami Ghalad, CEO of RAKEZ, stated that the promotional tour highlighted the UAE’s advanced status as a platform for regional and international growth for Indian companies. Direct engagement with entrepreneurs and industry leaders across diverse cities and sectors positioned Ras Al Khaimah as a strategic choice that offers a clear and effective pathway for startups, operations, and expansive growth from the UAE.

While participating in the global “Jubilant Tamil Nadu” exhibition and Knowledge Summit, which gathers small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, major corporations, and decision-makers, RAKEZ presented its integrated service model for business establishment in the UAE.

Discussions centered around streamlined and rapid business setup processes, comprehensive services that include issuing commercial licenses, facility leasing, and UAE visas. There are also customizable facilities available, such as co-working spaces, offices, warehouses, and land designated for development, along with worker accommodation complexes located within industrial sites to support manufacturing operations.

As part of the broader tour, RAKEZ organized bilateral business meetings in Mumbai while participating in the PAMEX 2026 exhibition, connecting with manufacturers and industrial companies involved in the value chains of printing, packaging, paper conversion, textile printing, and signage.

In Goa, the RAKEZ delegation took part in the India Energy Week alongside the Ras Al Khaimah Gas team, conducting a series of meetings with companies in the energy sector, including upstream and downstream firms, renewable energy services, and industries exploring opportunities for regional expansion.

India is one of the key markets for RAKEZ and continues to see growth in bilateral relations under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and India. Currently, RAKEZ hosts over 11,500 Indian companies, ranging from small and medium enterprises to multinational giants such as Royal Gulf Industries, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, MSSL, and Dabur Natural. By maintaining a strong on-ground presence and undertaking targeted promotional campaigns by sector, RAKEZ solidifies its status as a preferred destination for Indian companies pursuing sustainable growth from the UAE to regional and global markets.
