Sharjah Airport Introduces Home Check-in Service

Sharjah Airport has unveiled a new service that allows travelers to complete their check-in procedures from the comfort of their homes. This initiative enables passengers departing from Sharjah Airport to handle all necessary travel arrangements smoothly, moving directly to the passport control area upon arrival at the airport.

Bookings can be made through the official Sharjah Airport website, by calling 800745424, or by using the “SHJ Home Check-In” app.

It is necessary to reserve this service at least 8 hours prior to the flight. A specialized team from Sharjah Airport will manage all aspects of the check-in process, starting with issuing the boarding pass and collecting luggage from the traveler’s home, workplace, or hotel.

This service is designed to cater to the needs of various types of travelers, including families and business professionals who prefer a quick and convenient check-in experience from home.

Multiple packages are available to accommodate different traveler requirements based on the number of bags. The Coral package, priced at 145 AED, covers one to two bags; the Silver package costs 165 AED for three to four bags; and the Gold package, at 185 AED, allows for up to six bags. Any additional bags will incur a fee of 20 AED each, aligning with the airline’s baggage policy. Currently, the service is available in its initial phase only in various areas of Sharjah.
