The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry concluded its inaugural official mission to Mauritius, organized in collaboration with the Economic Development Board of Mauritius, which took place from June 30 until yesterday.
The mission aimed to strengthen economic and trade relations with the African continent, facilitate the exploration and presentation of the latest investment opportunities between the two parties, and enhance cooperation and coordination between the business communities in Sharjah and Mauritius.
This initiative is part of the chamber’s efforts to attract quality investments and support the expansion of the private sector and local companies into global markets that offer promising prospects and opportunities.
The delegation was led by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and included Sheikh Majid bin Faisal bin Khalid Al Qasimi, the First Vice Chairman of the chamber, along with board members Ziyad Mahmoud Khairallah and Mohammed Ali bin Kamel.
Also present were Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Maqreb, Director of the International Relations Department, Mew Sultan bin Huda Al Suwaidi, Head of the Partnerships and International Cooperation Department, Dr. Lina Al Samkari, and Dr. Hassan Al Kharrat from Al Hanan Industrial Company. The Sharjah delegation held high-level business meetings with several ministers and senior officials in the Government of Mauritius.
