Sharjah Eyes Investment Opportunities with the United States

The Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment Office, in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, organized the “2026 Business and Golf Day” at the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. This event aimed to strengthen economic and investment ties between the business communities of Sharjah and the United States.

The initiative comes in light of the continuous growth in trade relations between Sharjah and the U.S., with the trade exchange reaching approximately 3.8 billion dirhams in 2025. This figure reflects the depth of economic connections and the expansion of collaborative opportunities.

The event featured formal business sessions and an interactive golf program, attracting executives from companies based in both the UAE and the U.S. with operations in Sharjah. The goal was to enhance direct communication between investors and decision-makers, highlight investment opportunities in the emirate, facilitate access to regional and international markets, and promote long-term strategic partnerships.
