This initiative aims to showcase advanced methodologies in the UAE’s economic and financial sectors.

The program included a range of specialized presentations, workshops, and field trips, alongside meetings with Emirati experts in both the financial and economic areas.

Participants were acquainted with practical tools and solutions to support the creation of future operational models, enhancing the readiness of governmental entities to adapt to global changes and develop innovative solutions for financial and economic challenges.

The program featured participants from Brazil, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Rwanda, Vietnam, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, and Oman, focusing on aspects such as financial policy development, corporate governance, and knowledge exchange among nations.

Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, emphasized that specialized international knowledge programs are a central aspect of the UAE government’s efforts to expand global knowledge-sharing and promote innovative practices in economic and financial fields.

He pointed out that financial and economic sectors are key drivers for enhancing government operations and improving quality of life, confirming that the program reflects a shared understanding among participating countries about the importance of developing advanced economic models.

The Global Financial Leadership Program is designed to elevate the international role of the governmental knowledge exchange initiative by offering a new platform for sharing best practices and financial and economic policies, as well as building a collaborative network among leaders from various countries in the financial and economic sectors to help them craft strategies that align with global changes.

Program activities included field visits to several governmental and financial institutions within the UAE, such as the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Emirates Institute of Finance, the Union of Credit Information, and the Dubai Financial Centre, where participants interacted with Emirati experts and officials discussing global trends in the financial sector and economic policy development tools.
