Etihad Airways has achieved remarkable recognition by winning over 25 international awards in 2025, celebrating various aspects of the travel experience. These accolades encompass everything from cabin design and in-flight services to safety standards and operational excellence.
One standout accomplishment includes the airline being awarded a prestigious 7-Star Plus safety rating from AirlineRatings, making it the fourth airline globally and the first in its region to achieve this distinction. This rating represents the highest safety classification in the internationally recognized safety evaluation system.

During the World Travel Awards ceremony, Etihad Airways received three global accolades: Best Airline Customer Experience, Best Airline Economy Class, and Best Business Class Lounge in the World, recognizing its premium lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Additionally, at the Middle East segment of the World Travel Awards held in October, the airline celebrated five regional awards, including Best Airline in the Middle East for Customer Experience, Best Economy Class, as well as Best In-Flight Entertainment System, Best Business Class Lounge, and Best Cabin Crew in the region.
