Azizi Developments has announced the groundbreaking of its first five-star hotel as part of an ambitious investment plan totaling 75 billion dirhams in the hospitality sector. This initiative aims to enhance the global tourism infrastructure in Dubai.
The new hotel will be situated within the Azizi Riviera project in Mohammed Bin Rashid City, and it is one of ten hotel projects currently in various stages of design and construction, forming part of a comprehensive system that includes development, construction, and project management.
Through this strategic expansion, the company plans to develop a total of 151 hotels, comprising 100 four-star and 50 five-star establishments, along with one seven-star hotel. More than 90% of these projects will be based in Dubai. Upon completion, the portfolio is expected to yield around 60,000 hotel rooms and generate over 75,000 job opportunities within the hospitality sector.
The company also aims to build a luxury hotel within the Azizi Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, which is anticipated to become the second tallest building in the world.
Additionally, Azizi Developments is planning to launch the Azizi Hospitality Academy, designed to train national talents and prepare a new generation of professionals who meet the highest international standards.
Murad Azizi, the founder and chairman of the company, stated: “Dubai has demonstrated its capacity to establish itself as an attractive global hub for investment and tourism. Our investment in the hospitality sector reflects our long-term commitment to the emirate and our confidence in its tourism and economic future.”
He further added: “Through our projects, we aim to provide diverse hospitality experiences that align with the aspirations of visitors from around the world, thus reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global destination for tourism, lifestyle, and investment.”
