It supports Sharjah’s goals for sustainable smart cities and helps harness water as a vital resource in the emirate, serving as a fundamental pillar in protecting lives and properties.

His Highness also explored the “Nubni” electronic initiative, designed to streamline services for the engineering and construction sector across all municipalities in Sharjah. The platform offers 129 construction-related services and involves 35 federal and local entities. This initiative aims to reengineer services, reduce required documentation, and ensure data integration among government agencies, while AI technologies are utilized to assist users and perform automatic checks on plans and documents.

Additionally, His Highness was briefed on the “Aqar” project, which seeks to provide accurate and reliable information about the real estate sector in the emirate. The project aims to enhance the customer experience by offering services that exceed expectations, improving the accuracy of real estate data, and providing a comprehensive overview of the market for decision-makers. It also creates a centralized digital platform for real estate services allowing relevant entities to offer their services through a unified portal.

The Deputy Ruler concluded his visit at the Sharjah government pavilion by observing the AI applications hackathon for infrastructure development, which included eight teams.
