Dubai’s Land Department has entered into a cooperative agreement with Emirates NBD aimed at digitizing the rental contract process and enhancing tenant experiences. The partnership also focuses on developing comprehensive solutions for managing security deposits and introducing innovative financial products that will improve customer interactions and streamline real estate operations.
The agreement was formalized during the “GITEX Global 2025” event, with Majid Al Marri, the Executive Director of Real Estate Registration Sector, representing the department and Ahmed Al Qassim, Group Head of Business Banking at Emirates NBD, signing on behalf of the bank. Several executives from both sides were present at the signing ceremony.
This collaboration establishes a robust infrastructure to support the digital transformation of rental services, ensuring transaction transparency and simplifying payment processes.

Under this agreement, both parties will work together to enhance tenants’ experiences through the department’s smart app and online portal, as well as providing digital financial products.
This partnership between the public and private sectors marks a significant step towards creating a fully integrated digital rental system that embodies the Land Department’s vision of delivering proactive and seamless services while boosting smart transformation within the real estate sector.

Additionally, it will connect real estate services with smart banking solutions, providing tenants with a more flexible and secure experience, aligning with Dubai’s goals of building an innovative digital economy based on efficiency and transparency.

This collaboration reflects the commitment of both parties to foster digital transformation and enhance integration between the government and banking sectors, contributing to the objectives of Dubai’s Real Estate Strategy 2033 and the D33 Economic Agenda. Through this initiative, innovative solutions will be developed to simplify the customer journey, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading global destination for real estate digitization and financial services.
