The Ajman Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Ajman Economic Development Department, organized the “Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements – CEPA” forum. This event aimed to showcase the opportunities and capabilities available to private sector entities and highlight ways to leverage the provisions of these agreements to enhance the competitiveness of national companies and facilitate the entry of local products into global markets.
Attendees included Ali Rashid Al Ketbi, Executive Director of the Research and Investment Development Sector; Khalid Al Shamsi, Director of the Information and Economic Studies Department; and Hindi Obaid Al Matrooshi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the Ajman Chamber. Various government officials, business owners, and representatives from private enterprises that are members of the Ajman Chamber were also present.
Khalid Al Shamsi emphasized the significance of the event, describing it as an interactive platform that brings together government entities and private sector companies to discuss growth and expansion opportunities for local businesses. This collaboration aims to maximize the benefits derived from comprehensive economic partnership agreements, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of the business environment.
This initiative further enhances the contribution of the private sector to economic development, supporting the competitiveness of Ajman’s economy and aligning with the Ajman Vision 2030, which is in harmony with the principles of “We are the Emirates 2031.”
