The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the “Brisbane Economic Connections and Partnerships Forum,” featuring a distinguished economic delegation from Brisbane, Australia, alongside representatives from various government bodies and the local business community.
The forum aimed to explore investment and trade collaboration opportunities while strengthening the bilateral relations between Abu Dhabi and Brisbane, which is the capital of Queensland and the third-largest city in Australia.
The Australian delegation was led by Fiona Cunningham, Deputy Mayor of Brisbane and Chair of the City Council’s Finance and Governance Committee, and included over 40 representatives from the business sectors and government entities in Brisbane.
The visit was designed to assess economic collaboration opportunities and enhance bilateral ties, reinforcing the role of the Abu Dhabi Chamber as a key partner in fostering international relations and supporting the business environment in the emirate.
This forum is part of Abu Dhabi Chamber’s efforts to enhance the emirate’s presence on the global economic stage and to broaden collaborative avenues with promising international markets, thereby contributing to the growth of the private sector, attracting quality investments, and supporting economic diversification aligned with the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s roadmap (2025 – 2028).
