Abdulkarim Almazmi Appointed Acting CEO of Dragon Oil

The board of directors of Dragon Oil, a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), has announced the appointment of Abdulkarim Ahmed Al-Mazmi as the interim Chief Executive Officer.

Al-Mazmi is recognized as a prominent leader in the oil and gas industry, boasting over 40 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive positions at various global companies, notably leading BP’s operations in the UAE.

He has also served on the boards of several organizations, including Edco, Adma, Idgas, Engasco, and Al Bunduq, while overseeing strategic projects in various regions since joining Dragon Oil in 2018.

This appointment reflects the board’s confidence in Al-Mazmi’s leadership abilities, strategic vision, and his crucial role in driving sustainable growth and expansion in key markets, particularly in Turkmenistan, Egypt, and Iraq.
