The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange recently hosted a forum titled “Exploring Investment Opportunities in Armenia.” This event, organized by the Armenian Stock Exchange, focused on connecting the two markets through a trading platform that allows for seamless transactions of various financial instruments, including stocks and exchange-traded funds, while enhancing access for investors in both countries.
The forum saw high-level participation from senior officials within the Armenian financial sector. The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Armenian economy, highlighting market depth and growth drivers. Additionally, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia gave the keynote address, emphasizing the government’s commitment to developing capital markets and fostering regional integration.
Brokerage firms from Armenia participated, alongside representatives from the financial and business communities in the UAE. Discussions centered on enhancing connectivity among brokerage firms, improving liquidity, and supporting cross-border capital flows. The forum concluded with panel discussions aimed at fostering long-term partnerships between Armenian financial institutions and institutional investors in the UAE, thereby strengthening the role of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the trading platform in connecting markets and supporting regional and international capital flows.

In collaboration with market participants, we aim to leverage this connection to build a stable and competitive investment ecosystem.”
