The Ajman Businesswomen Council, which operates under the Ajman Chamber of Commerce, organized the “Noon Al-Iataa Al-Riyadi” forum. This event was attended by Dr. Amina Khalifa Al Ali, President of the Ajman Businesswomen Council, and saw participation from over 120 entrepreneurs. The main aim of the forum was to enhance networking and share success stories among entrepreneurial leaders while launching innovative community initiatives and raising awareness about banking solutions that support startups and empower entrepreneurs.
The forum also saw the presence of Aisha Mohammed Al-Mulla, President of the UAE Businesswomen Council, along with members of the boards from both the UAE and Ajman Businesswomen Councils, as well as entrepreneurship consultant Hazza Ibrahim Al-Mansouri, and various officials and experts in entrepreneurship and community service, alongside business owners at the Al Zawraa Beach Resort in Ajman.
Dr. Amina Khalifa Al Ali emphasized that the “Noon Al-Iataa Al-Riyadi” forum serves as an interactive platform that bridges entrepreneurship with social responsibility. It focuses on highlighting entrepreneurial projects that have a positive impact on society and supports innovative ideas in becoming sustainable, real initiatives that inspire community-driven economic practices.
She noted that the timing of the forum coincides with the national campaign “The UAE as the Capital of Entrepreneurs Worldwide,” reflecting the Ajman Businesswomen Council’s commitment to contributing to this national vision. Dr. Al Ali mentioned that the forum aims to promote a culture of giving and volunteering among entrepreneurs, while empowering young talents to leverage entrepreneurship for community development, aligning with the UAE’s vision of building a knowledge economy based on creativity and sustainability.
Dr. Amina Khalifa also announced the launch of the “Social Entrepreneurship Work Group” initiative by the Ajman Businesswomen Council, which aims to provide a platform combining profit-oriented goals with community impact to enhance sustainable development. She clarified that this initiative is open to those equipped to contribute to community service and engage in projects aimed at achieving development and enhancing social and economic impacts.
She highlighted that the launch of the “Social Entrepreneurship Work Group” initiative is in line with the national campaign “The UAE as the Capital of Entrepreneurs Worldwide,” offering a wide array of specialized training programs executed in collaboration with expert professionals and relevant entities. The initiative aims to establish an effective network of partnerships with governmental and private sectors, facilitating the launch of impactful social projects and enhancing the status of Ajman in the field of social entrepreneurship within the country.
The President of the Ajman Businesswomen Council invited attendees and all those interested in community work to register and join the initiative, aiming for its objectives to align with Ajman’s Vision 2030, which seeks to build an inclusive, cohesive, and empowered community, ensuring the contribution of the private sector, civil society, and individuals in the social work agenda.
The forum sessions covered various topics, including “Innovation for Community and Sustainability – Social Entrepreneurship and Community Impact,” presented by Dr. Khaled Maqlid. He discussed the concept of social entrepreneurship and its role in achieving positive and sustainable changes in society, as well as the significance of innovation as an effective tool for impact and sustaining growth in entrepreneurial projects, showcasing successful experiences and practices in this field.
Maryam Al-Mansouri, Director and Founder of Rebound, shared her success story, detailing her entrepreneurial journey and the challenges she faced in establishing and developing her project. She emphasized the importance of perseverance and innovation in achieving excellence, encouraging young entrepreneurs to embrace creative ideas that can lead to a positive and sustainable impact on society.
Concerning the topic “Community Initiatives That Make a Difference,” Mona Saqr Al-Matrooshi, Director of the Ajman Social and Cultural Development Association, presented an overview of significant community initiatives launched by the association. She underscored the role of these initiatives in raising community awareness, supporting targeted groups, and highlighting the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to create positive impacts.
Furthermore, Ruya Islamic Bank conducted a session that explored the differences between personal and business accounts. It reviewed the role of business accounts in developing entrepreneurial projects, outlined the procedures and steps for opening such accounts, and provided practical advice for managing accounts professionally to support business growth.
