The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), organized by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), has announced that applications are now open for the 2026 edition in the United Arab Emirates.
This competition serves as a leading global platform for university and college students who are managing their own businesses alongside their academic studies.
Established in 1998, the GSEA program now takes place in 39 countries worldwide, offering participants valuable opportunities to learn and connect with a global network of entrepreneurs, as well as receive mentorship from experienced business leaders.
Participants will enhance their pitching skills, gain practical experience in entrepreneurship, and build relationships with a worldwide community of innovators. Those who qualify for the global finals will compete for a share of a total prize pool of $100,000, in addition to opportunities for visibility and international recognition.
The application period for the UAE edition runs until February 28, 2026, with the local competition scheduled for March 28, 2026. The regional quarter-finals will take place in Saudi Arabia on May 7, 2026, followed by the global finals in July 2026.
Students interested in participating can submit their applications through the official website, selecting Dubai, UAE, as their location. Additional information can be obtained via email.
This competition targets undergraduate and graduate students aged between 18 and 30 who are currently enrolled in educational institutions and own or manage a business that has been operational for at least six months.
