Mohammed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar and Noon, as well as the Chairman of Eagle Hills, announced that the bidding process for the Dubai Creek Tower will commence within the next three months.
In his remarks during a panel discussion at the Dubai Global Project Management Forum, he emphasized that current competition goes beyond mere height of buildings, focusing instead on architectural design that enhances the aesthetic and cultural value of Dubai, while embodying its ambitions and future vision.
He noted that the Dubai Creek project is among the largest future developments, with an area expected to be double that of the Burj Khalifa. He mentioned that while the mall associated with the project will be smaller than The Dubai Mall, it will feature innovative designs that aim to provide a unique experience for visitors.
Alabbar pointed out that the UAE is poised to greatly benefit from advancements in artificial intelligence in the coming years, indicating that technological transformation will fundamentally alter business landscapes, particularly in the real estate sector.
He stressed that individuals have the capacity for innovation and excellence when fueled by genuine desire and ambition. He affirmed that progress does not eliminate the human role entirely; rather, it redefines it and fosters greater connectivity to added value and innovation.
Alabbar highlighted the significance of balanced urban planning, expressing the necessity for real estate developers to respect the communities in which they operate and to deliver projects that enhance urban environments and prioritize human needs over mere profit.
He further stated that real estate developers bear a social responsibility that is equally as important as their commercial obligations, which includes making positive contributions to society and enhancing urban living standards, rather than solely focusing on financial returns.
