Engineer Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce, recently discussed collaborative efforts with Engineer Said bin Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in North Al Batinah Governorate. Their focus was on mutual cooperation between the two chambers, sharing expertise and best practices, as well as coordination and participation in key economic events and exhibitions.
The meeting, held at the Ajman Chamber headquarters, was attended by Mohammed Khalifa bin Salmeen Al Aryani, a member of the chamber’s board, Salem Al Suwaidi, the director general, Ali Rashed Al Kittob, the executive director of the studies and investment development sector, and businessman Salem bin Ahmed Al Nuaimi. The Omani delegation included Dr. Ali bin Salem Al Badhi, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Committee of the Oman branch in North Al Batinah, along with several chamber officials.
Al Muwaiji praised the strong and deep ties between the UAE and Oman at both leadership and community levels, highlighting the continuous development in various spheres. He reaffirmed Ajman Chamber’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman in North Al Batinah and expanding partnership opportunities.
He emphasized the promising and diverse opportunities for future cooperation, given the competitive economic and investment capabilities of both Ajman and North Al Batinah, along with their advanced infrastructure and attractive aspects for investment across several vital sectors.
Engineer Said bin Ali Al Abri extended an invitation to participate in the Sohar Investment Forum 2026 in North Al Batinah, aimed at strengthening institutional partnerships between the two chambers, facilitating direct communication channels for businesspeople, promoting investment opportunities in Ajman, and supporting trade exchange growth. He indicated that the forum, scheduled for February 4-5, 2026, will present extensive opportunities encompassing advanced industries, manufacturing, heavy and supporting industries, food production, medical industries, and recycling.
The attendees underscored the significance of the Ajman International Exhibition for Education and Training, noting its essential role as an annual platform that brings together universities and educational entities from both nations, thereby enhancing strategic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and academic as well as training collaborations that align with comprehensive development goals and human capital building.
The Ajman Chamber provided an overview of the Investment Attraction Task Force in the emirate, highlighting key investment opportunities available in tourism, industry, logistics, infrastructure, and recycling. It emphasized the competitive business environment and investment incentives that promote project growth and the expansion of both local and foreign investments.
