Dubai Airports: Resumption of Air Travel to Normalcy

DUBAI AIRPORTS RESTORES OPERATIONS FOLLOWING WEATHER DISRUPTIONS

Dubai Airports has confirmed that normal operations have resumed at both Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport—Dubai World Central, after the inclement weather conditions experienced on December 18 and 19, 2025.

A spokesperson for Dubai Airports stated that both arriving and departing flights are now operating according to the established schedules. However, a limited number of transit flights are still being managed, while ensuring that safety standards remain intact throughout the affected period.

The coordinated response through the oneDXB airport community has prioritized passenger care, offering assistance to those impacted by providing hotel accommodations, access to lounges, and securing ground transportation services.

Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights by contacting their airlines directly and to plan their journey to the airport in advance by utilizing real-time traffic updates.
