Ferrero Group, one of the leading global confectionery companies and a key player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, has announced the appointment of Fabio Greli as the Regional Director for the Gulf region, effective September 1, 2025.
Greli brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the consumer goods industry, having held leadership positions in marketing, sales, and trade marketing. Since joining Ferrero in 2003, he has successfully navigated various roles across Luxembourg, France, Italy, Hungary, and most recently, the United Arab Emirates, gaining profound cultural insights and a robust understanding of diverse consumer markets.
In the past three years, Greli served as the General Manager for Eastern Europe, where he oversaw the company’s operations in markets such as Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova, successfully strengthening the brand’s position and fostering sustainable growth both commercially and operationally.
Commenting on his new role, Fabio Greli stated, “I am very proud to lead Ferrero’s operations in the Gulf region at this pivotal moment. Since 2020, Ferrero has doubled its business in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and we are committed to maintaining this momentum in the coming years.
