Dubai has launched its first global online series titled “A One-Way Ticket to Dubai,” as part of an initiative aimed at boosting foreign direct investment (FDI) into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and highlighting the strength of its economy, which is nearing the 2 trillion dirham mark. This unprecedented move marks a significant milestone in the Middle East.
The new series comes at a time when the UAE is experiencing remarkable economic momentum, with FDI soaring by 48% last year to reach approximately 45.6 billion dollars. In addition, the total value of real estate transactions in Dubai alone exceeded 804 billion dirhams in the first eleven months of 2025, reaffirming the emirate’s status as a top global destination for investment.
“A One-Way Ticket to Dubai” is the first of its kind in the region, produced and broadcast in eight major languages including Arabic, English, Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Persian, and Urdu. This broad language approach aims to engage a diverse group of investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals worldwide, encouraging them to relocate and invest in the UAE.
The series intends to provide a comprehensive overview of the business environment in the UAE, with a particular focus on the real estate market, which has seen cumulative transactions of 3.6 trillion dirhams over the past seven years, averaging more than 100 billion dollars annually in sales and mortgages. Recent figures continue to reflect strong demand, driven by an influx of high-net-worth individuals from various nationalities.
In this context, Benish Babu Panicker, the founder and co-founder of Foxbridge Productions, which is the main developer of the series, stated that “A One-Way Ticket to Dubai” represents a revolutionary approach to media communication with global markets. He explained that this is not just a traditional podcast but a strategic platform that merges specialized analysis with engaging storytelling, aimed at dispelling misconceptions and showcasing the regulatory advantages and high transparency of Dubai’s real estate market.
Panicker added that the series seeks to redefine global perceptions of Dubai, not only as an investment destination but as a holistic urban and economic model characterized by global connectivity and a flexible, future-ready legislative framework.
This media initiative is backed by robust economic data, as the UAE continues to hold its position among the top ten global destinations for foreign direct investment, driven by the diversity of its economic sectors, from wholesale and retail trade to real estate, financial services, and technology. Furthermore, Dubai alone has attracted over 40 billion dirhams in foreign direct investment, with noticeable growth in the number of projects and job opportunities, reflecting the dynamism of the local economy and its capacity to accommodate modern investments.
Moreover, Yafaa Al Faraj, a real estate expert and advisory board member of the series, emphasized that the UAE has become “a global magnet for investments,” noting that “A One-Way Ticket to Dubai” aims to enhance international investment awareness through in-depth discussions with business leaders and experts, highlighting the genuine investment opportunities and long-term stability in the country.
This initiative aligns with the rapid transformations occurring in the global audio media sector; projections suggest that revenues in the music, radio, and podcast markets will exceed 125 billion dollars by 2025, with the number of global listeners reaching over 3.5 billion by 2030. Additionally, the Gulf region is one of the most engaged markets for podcast content, with audiences exhibiting high educational values and an increasing interest in specialized local content.
The series is supported by Visible Technologies, a Dubai-based fintech startup focused on developing integrated financial solutions and capital management strategies. Its founder, Ali Yaqoub, affirmed that the initiative tells “the story of human and economic success in Dubai,” contributing to enhanced transparency and data culture by making information more accessible and understandable.
Produced by Foxbridge Productions, “A One-Way Ticket to Dubai” aims to set a new standard for emotional and globally resonant media production by blending cinematic storytelling, editorial content, and branded campaigns.
Overall, “A One-Way Ticket to Dubai” not only delivers media content but also introduces a fresh model for leveraging media as a soft power to bolster the national economy, attract investments, and elevate the UAE’s image as a global hub for opportunities, innovation, and quality of life.
