Emirates Airline Appoints New Director for Its Commercial Operations in Oman

Emirates Airlines has appointed Khalid Hassan as the new Regional Manager for its operations in Oman, effective November 1, 2025. This decision aligns with the airline’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its commercial presence in key global markets.

In his new role, Khalid Hassan will oversee Emirates’ operations and commercial strategies in Oman, which includes driving growth, solidifying partnerships, and enhancing the airline’s footprint in the Omani market.

Khalid brings extensive experience and a proven track record in business development and market strategy.

He joined Emirates Airlines in 1996 and has held various positions within the airline’s commercial operations team across significant markets in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Most recently, he served as the Regional Manager for Emirates in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, where he played a key role in expanding the airline’s customer base and enhancing business and institutional relationships in the region, positioning him well to lead the next growth phase for the airline in Oman.

This appointment is part of the UAE’s station manager rotation program.
