Imsteele Signs Agreement for Raw Material Transfer Worth 600 Million Dirhams

The Emstile Group has announced the signing of a maritime transportation agreement for raw materials with Oldendorff Carriers, spanning five years and projected to reach a total value of approximately 600 million dirhams over the contract’s duration. This reflects the significance of the partnership and its strategic importance.

Under this renewed agreement, Oldendorff Carriers will continue to provide specialized shipping services for raw material shipments to Emstile’s steel plants located in Abu Dhabi. The focus will be on maintaining the highest safety standards, ensuring a steady supply chain, and adhering to responsible practices within the maritime transport sector.

This agreement extends over 20 years of ongoing collaboration between Emstile and Oldendorff Carriers, reinforcing a partnership that has played a crucial role in supporting Emstile’s industrial growth and enhancing the reliability of its supply chains.

Oldendorff Carriers will be tasked with transporting approximately 5.2 million tons of iron ore pellets annually from various sources. This will establish a key logistical connection between Emstile and its iron ore pellet suppliers, facilitating smooth operational coordination, ensuring timely deliveries, and fostering collaboration at various stages of the supply chain.
