Abu Dhabi – Kizad Economic Zones has formally announced the signing of a 50-year lease agreement with Jotun Abu Dhabi aimed at establishing a new industrial facility in the ICAD – Kizad Musaffah area.
Under this arrangement, Jotun Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of the global paint and coatings company Jotun, will invest 450 million dirhams to set up a state-of-the-art facility covering an area of 83,177 square meters.
This investment marks the beginning of a significant expansion for the company as it relocates from its current 22,000-square-meter facility to the new site, which is expected to create approximately 200 job opportunities within Kizad.
Abdullah Al Hamly, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones at Abu Dhabi Ports, expressed enthusiasm about Jotun Abu Dhabi’s expansion, emphasizing its importance in enhancing the industrial presence in the rapidly growing Kizad area. He highlighted the commitment of Kizad to continue developing world-class infrastructure that supports the growth of the construction sector in the region, aligning with the vision of the leadership and reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global manufacturing hub.
