Localization Urges Companies to Accelerate Achievement of 2025 Goals

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has renewed its call to private sector companies that employ 50 or more workers to expedite their efforts in meeting the Emiratisation targets for 2025 by the end of December. This urgency is to avoid financial penalties that will take effect from January 1, 2026, for companies that fail to achieve the required Emiratisation rates. Specifically, companies must achieve a 1% increase in the number of Emirati workers in skilled positions, while maintaining previous Emiratisation percentages.

The ministry has encouraged these companies to leverage the “Nafis” program platform to connect with Emirati job seekers across various fields, thereby supporting their commitment to achieving Emiratisation goals.

Additionally, the ministry highlighted the efficiency of its regulatory system in detecting negative practices, such as fictitious Emiratisation and attempts to evade the established targets. The integration of artificial intelligence tools into the system enhances its capabilities, allowing it to enforce legal actions against non-compliant companies. Such measures may include downgrading the company’s classification within the ministry’s ranking system and mandating them to rectify their status. The ministry urges reporting any violations or negative practices that contradict national Emiratisation policies by contacting their call center at 600590000 or through the ministry’s mobile app and website. The ministry expresses confidence in the awareness of private sector companies and Emirati job seekers regarding the strategic and national benefits of Emiratisation, as well as its positive impact on the competitiveness of the work environment and economic growth in the country.
