Maktoum Bin Mohammed: Dubai Climbs to 11th Place Worldwide in Global Financial Centers Index with Over $4.2 Billion in Investments

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Dubai, has announced that the city has risen to the 11th position globally in the Global Financial Centers Index. Dubai has also established itself among the top four global fintech hubs with investments surpassing $4.2 billion.

In a statement shared on the platform “X,” he remarked: “Dubai has moved up to the 11th position worldwide in the Global Financial Centers Index and solidified its place among the four leading fintech centers globally with investments exceeding $4.2 billion.”

He further emphasized, “This achievement reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, positioning the Dubai International Financial Centre as the largest ecosystem for innovation and artificial intelligence in the region, hosting over 1,500 companies focused on AI and innovation.”

He concluded with, “In Dubai, we are shaping the economy of tomorrow, and leadership is a way of life.”
