Ministry of Finance Releases Guide for Electronic Invoicing

The Ministry of Finance has announced the release of the official guide for electronic invoicing, titled “Electronic Invoicing Guide.” This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive reference that assists businesses in efficiently preparing for the implementation of the electronic invoicing system at the national level. The guide outlines the scope and objectives of the system, presenting a complete overview of the national framework, while clarifying the foundational principles and regulatory policies that underpin it. Furthermore, the guide details the key terms and concepts associated with the system, highlighting the expected benefits of adopting a unified digital platform. The electronic invoicing guide specifies the boundaries of the new regulatory framework, identifying the types of transactions and categories included in the system’s application, as well as those that are exempt. It also includes a phased implementation plan that provides businesses with greater clarity regarding the adopted timeline, enabling them to prepare for a systematic and thoughtful transition.
