The relevant authorities in the UAE have rapidly initiated the national campaign “UAE: The Capital of Entrepreneurs in the World,” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The campaign aims to establish the UAE as a global hub for entrepreneurship and has resulted in the introduction of numerous programs and initiatives designed to empower citizens as entrepreneurs.
The Ministry of Economy and Tourism, the New Economy Academy, and the “Ignyte” platform have announced the launch of the “Entrepreneurship Program,” which targets Emirati entrepreneurs.
This program aims to attract 10,000 citizens to participate in a unified program that combines the fundamentals and practices of entrepreneurship, catering to both new entrepreneurs and those who will engage in a comprehensive journey from establishment to sustainable growth and global expansion, while also training them in essential entrepreneurial skills.
Additionally, the Federal Youth Authority has rolled out a series of quality initiatives under the banner “Youth Creating the Economy of Tomorrow,” aimed at empowering Emirati youth in the field of entrepreneurship.
The initiative aims to engage over 5,000 young people through more than 25 quality events and 5 initiatives dedicated to supporting youth within the entrepreneurship realm.
Moreover, the Federal Tax Authority and the New Economy Academy have announced the launch of the “Emirati Tax Agent Program,” focused on equipping Emirati talents and training a new generation of certified tax agents.
This program aims to license 500 Emirati tax agents over the next three years.
