UAE Businesswomen Discuss Strategic Plan for 2025 – 2029

The UAE Businesswomen Council convened a strategic retreat that involved board members and general assembly members to brainstorm and formulate the council’s strategic plan for the period of 2025 to 2029.

In her opening remarks, Aisha Al-Mulla, Chair of the UAE Businesswomen Council, highlighted that this retreat is a crucial step towards creating a unified vision for the council based on leadership, integration, and innovation. She emphasized that the organized efforts and constructive collective thinking reflect the council’s commitment and pride in the honorary presidency of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as the Mother of the Emirates, who leads the General Women’s Union, chairs the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and is the highest authority of the Family Development Foundation. Her inspiring leadership and clear vision have been pivotal in promoting Emirati women and enhancing their leadership presence both locally and internationally.

Al-Mulla urged everyone to unite with a common spirit and determination, meeting the aspirations of Her Highness and ensuring that the council’s achievements extend her blessed legacy of supporting women, solidifying the UAE’s position as a beacon of leadership and human and institutional excellence.

In a conversation with a local news outlet, Al-Mulla reaffirmed that the council’s main priorities focus on economically empowering women. This includes providing opportunities for businesswomen and female entrepreneurs through necessary resources and training, thereby enhancing women’s participation in society and assisting them in achieving personal and professional goals.

She mentioned that the retreat is not just a regular meeting but a creative space that opens avenues for innovative ideas and initiatives, allowing for a reassessment of our current reality and a forward-looking vision that aligns with the aspirations of our esteemed leadership and the competitive strategies of our nation.

Dr. Amal Al-Hidabi, the council’s First Vice Chair, presented the core features of the strategic plan and the proposed initiatives.

She highlighted the significance of brainstorming sessions within the council’s executive committees, stating that the outcomes of the retreat serve as the foundational pillar for developing the council’s plans.

Members of the council were organized into groups based on specific committees, facilitating important discussions to identify projects and programs that translate into practical action plans contributing to the initiatives and objectives outlined in the strategic plan.
