Abu Dhabi Ports Group Launches Major Port Development in Angola

Abu Dhabi Ports Group, in partnership with Angolan firms Unicargas and Multi-Parkes, has officially commenced the construction of the “Nátom Ports – Luanda Terminal” project, marking the start of a significant effort to modernize and expand port facilities in Angola.

The group plans to invest $250 million over the next three years, with the potential for total investments to reach $380 million throughout the concession period. Construction for the Nátom Ports – Luanda Terminal is expected to take 18 months, aiming to deliver advanced infrastructure and cutting-edge technological systems.

Mohammed Al Tamimi, CEO of Nátom Ports, stated, “The foundation stone laying is a pivotal milestone for Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Angola, and the entire region, embodying our long-term strategy to provide world-class infrastructure.”
