Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Arqaam Capital Launch Investment Initiative

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange has partnered with Al Ramz Capital to launch the “Al Ramz Investment and Trading Competition,” marking a first-of-its-kind initiative in the region aimed at promoting strategic financial planning practices and encouraging a culture of long-term savings and investment.

This initiative features a practical and direct trading competition within the capital market, allowing investors of various levels—be they beginners or professionals—to apply their investment knowledge and refine their skills in a real-world environment, with the chance to win up to one million miles each month from the Etihad Guest program.

All participants can utilize the exchange’s website to access market data reports, monitor the performance of securities listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and gain investment insights that will support their strategy development and enhance their trading skills.

The program includes a competitive rewards structure that recognizes the best investment performance in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange on a monthly basis. The participant who achieves the highest monthly return in the market will receive one million miles in the Etihad Guest program, which is sufficient for multiple first-class flights to destinations like New York and London. Additionally, the participants ranked from second to tenth will receive monthly rewards ranging from 100,000 to 500,000 miles within the same program.

This competition reflects the strong performance of companies listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, which continue to deliver attractive dividends and solid performance, supported by the resilient economic fundamentals of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. In 2025, listed companies distributed 74 billion dirhams in cash dividends, marking a year-on-year growth of 9.4%.

To ensure equal opportunities for all participants, results will be calculated based on time-weighted returns, a measure that focuses on the efficiency of investment decisions and trading skills, rather than the amount of capital invested. The competition will be held monthly over a three-month period and is open to all investors who have an active trading account with Al Ramz Capital, with no minimum investment value required. Participants will also have the option to track their performance privately through a specially designed online portal.
