Emirates Airlines has signed a partnership with Marriott International to establish the “Wolgan Valley Emirates Ritz-Carlton Lodge,” a high-end all-inclusive resort featuring 40 suites. This luxurious property is set to be located on a sprawling 7,000-acre nature reserve in the Greater Blue Mountains region of Australia, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Wolgan Valley Emirates Ritz-Carlton will bear the Ritz-Carlton brand and will be the first Ritz-Carlton lodge in the world.
Anticipated to open in mid-2026, the resort aims to set new benchmarks in the luxury hospitality and travel sector while also revitalizing tourism in New South Wales.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines, stated: “For the past 30 years of operations in Australia, Emirates has consistently sought to deliver added value to our customers and to Australia itself. Our commitment transcends mere air transport services, as evidenced by the strong relationships we have built with industry partners and our proactive engagement with the broader Australian community through the establishment of the Wolgan Valley Emirates resort, alongside our extensive sponsorship in the realms of sports and the arts in Australia.”
He also remarked: “We take pride in our long-term investment in the Wolgan Valley Emirates resort, recognized as one of the pioneering luxury retreats in Australia with the highest standards of environmental preservation.”
Our steadfast commitment to the resort motivates us to announce this exceptional agreement with Marriott International to launch the first Ritz-Carlton lodge in the world.
We are confident that this resort will not only be an extraordinary destination attracting discerning travelers seeking luxurious experiences in nature but will also serve as a significant driver for local economic growth, effectively contributing to the revitalization of the Wolgan Valley area.
