The Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) is preparing for its twelfth annual event, the “MEFMA Confex 2025,” scheduled to take place from October 28 to 30 at the JW Marriott Dubai Marina. The event is backed by the Dubai Municipality.
This year’s edition is expected to be the largest in the association’s history, bringing together over 800 participants, 40 exhibitors, and more than 30 prominent speakers from across the Middle East and worldwide. This gathering coincides with MEFMA’s 15th anniversary, and it will attract top government officials, organizers, CEOs, and global facility management experts, further solidifying MEFMA’s position as a leading platform for shaping the future of the facility management sector in the region.
The facility management sector is a fundamental component of everyday life, ensuring the safe and effective operation of buildings, communities, and entire cities. This sector encompasses a wide array of services, from energy efficiency and sustainability to cleaning, maintenance, security, and the integration of smart technologies, making it a key player in enhancing the quality of life and promoting community well-being.
Jamal Lootah, President of the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA), stated, “Facility management has become a critical element of modern life, shaping individuals’ experiences in cities, workplaces, and communities. Its role extends beyond asset maintenance to enable sustainability, ensure safety, and integrate smart operations that enhance quality of life. With the rapid implementation of ambitious national agendas in the region, such as the UAE’s 2050 Climate Neutral Strategy and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the facility management sector is a vital partner in realizing these visions by developing sustainable communities and buildings that meet future needs. With the support of Dubai Municipality and regional partners, the MEFMA Confex 2025 will serve as the premier regional platform for mapping out a new pathway for excellence in facility management, bringing together decision-makers, innovators, and leaders from government entities to discuss ways to enhance operational efficiency and achieve long-term economic and social value.”
