The CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics, Abdullah Massaad, confirmed that the strength of the “Made in UAE” brand is a key driver of the company’s global sales.
He noted that the positive reputation of Emirati products related to quality, reliability, and sustainability has enhanced the company’s competitiveness in various international markets, establishing it as an Emirati industrial entity exporting its products to over 150 countries worldwide.
Massaad explained that the real estate and construction momentum within the local market significantly supported performance, accounting for approximately 35% of the company’s total production sales due to ongoing robust activity in residential, commercial, and infrastructure development projects.
Massaad added that demand in Europe had declined due to a slowdown in economic growth and rising shipping costs, which increased by about 30 million dirhams in certain areas before gradually decreasing towards the end of the year. He pointed out that the company managed to offset this downturn by redirecting sales to more active markets, including the United States, benefiting from trade changes and tariffs imposed on competitor countries.
